Who are Freedom Debt Relief?

In 2002, Founders Andrew and Brad created Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) in order to provide a consumer-friendly option for people who were struggling with debt. Their mission was to offer a debt relief program that enabled people to reduce debt, build wealth and achieve financial freedom. They now offer a comprehensive program that helps the customer build savings, negotiate better settlements with creditors and work their way to being debt free.

The Challenge

FDR pride themselves on educating their customers and building trust right from the first call. Therefore they wanted to build a unique digital sign-up flow which would achieve these two crucial outcomes. It was clear they needed to enhance their over the phone process to help make things crystal clear for the customer.

The Solution

Using Upscope's HelloScreen, FDR can now onboard clients through the HelloScreen instant screen sharing process, allowing them to screen share directly to the client's phone during the call. This has allowed them to add an innovative layer of digital communication into their existing tech stack.

FDR operatives guide the client through a personalized slide deck which "significantly raises the conversion rate".

The New Process

  1. Customers fill in an initial data collection form

  2. An onboarding agent would reach out via telephone to qualify to applicant

  3. Whilst on the phone, the onboarding agent would initiate an instant screen sharing session

  4. From there, both the agent and client will move through FDR’s onboarding slide deck until completion

Why does HelloScreen raise conversion rates so much?

"Huge increase in the conversion rate"

"Significantly improved conversion rates"

"More than doubled the conversion rate"

Why are companies saying this? Seeing is believing. When you can show someone the savings they'll make, the social proof, the process and more, you build trust in a way that is not possible by just being a strange voice on the phone.
